The confluence of several personal experiences has given birth to a completely new body of work. In this series, I carry the concept of woman as vessel toward abstraction, revealing the unfolding of what feels to be a true feminine nature. The vibrant oil paintings begin with a single, gestural brush stroke. As they evolve, I engage in the process of painting, the dance between control and freedom. These “innerscapes” provide entry into a world lush with sensuous, organic forms that pulse with saturated color. My excitement comes where brush meets canvas, where trust and guidance allow the universal to speak.
